Disability & Accessibility Services
In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) of 2008, Southern New Hampshire University does not discriminate on the basis of disability, including intellectual disability, in admission, treatment, or access to its programs or activities, nor does it discriminate in employment in its programs or activities.
It is the responsibility of all SNHU staff, faculty, and students to adhere to the practice of equal access to opportunities affiliated with the institution.
The University prohibits unlawful discrimination on the basis of disability and takes action to prevent such discrimination by providing reasonable accommodations to eligible individuals with disabilities.
The guidelines SNHU uses for documenting a disability and determining necessary and appropriate accommodations may vary between the Online Accessibility Center (OAC) and the Campus Accessibility Center (CAC). Accommodations may differ depending on the type of coursework and the platform upon which it is offered.
We work diligently to detect and correct accessibility issues before they become barriers. However, if you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact the appropriate resource identified below for assistance.

Physical and Digital Accessibility Barrier Report Form
Accessibility barriers are physical or technological features or spaces within our community that are unexpectedly inaccessible to people with disabilities or technologies that do not conform with the standards of SNHU’s EIT Accessibility Plan. Examples of barriers may include blocked, missing or malfunctioning spaces, pathways, platforms, content or critical accessibility features – whether or not they have been specifically designated for individuals with disabilities.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier while engaging with SNHU programs, learning or employment, you may report the barrier via the SNHU Accessibility Barrier Report form. Community members and the general public may choose to leave their name and contact information for follow-up or report barriers anonymously via this form. To learn more about reporting accessibility barriers, visit the Accessibility Barrier Report page.
For situations requiring immediate assistance, please contact one of the accessibility resources listed on this page.
