SNHU to Celebrate its Largest Fall Commencement This Weekend

Thousands of SNHU graduates and guests will travel from across the globe to Manchester, N.H. to celebrate SNHU’s 95th Commencement Nov. 23-24

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) will celebrate its largest Fall Commencement this weekend, November 23-24, 2024. SNHU will welcome graduates from all 50 states and 58 countries to the SNHU Arena. More than 22,000 friends, family and community members will be in attendance to celebrate more than 4,600 graduates in three ceremonies over the course of the weekend.

These ceremonies will celebrate the more than 26,000 eligible Fall 2024 graduates ages 16-90 who have earned 3,500 associate degrees, 17,200 bachelor’s degrees, 5,600 master’s degrees and 11 doctoral degrees. The graduates, including 6,970 military-affiliated learners, have joined a community of more than 267,000 SNHU alumni.

CHEPP: Policy Recommendations for Improving College Credit Transfer System

The Center of Higher Education Policy and Practice (CHEPP) at SNHU has released policy recommendations to streamline college credit transfers, reducing costs and improving persistence. CHEPP's report highlights that students lose 43% of credits on average when transferring, leading to higher expenses and lower graduation rates.
