SNHU Text Service - SMS Terms and Conditions

SNHU offers texting through which SNHU sends periodic autodialed messages with marketing offers You will only receive these marketing messages if you have opted into receive texts from SNHU. By signing up for and participating in the SNHU Text Service, you agree to receive periodic recurring autodialed marketing messages at the mobile number that you provided to SNHU at the time of opt-in. You are not required to opt into receiving SNHU Texts as a condition of purchasing services. Although the SNHU Text Service is free, message and data rates may apply. You should check with your wireless carrier if you have questions about your plan and its coverage. SNHU is not liable for TCPA violations caused by a carrier network failure or malfunction. Under no circumstances will SNHU be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with use of text messaging whether or not SNHU has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Text messaging may not be available via all carriers. SNHU does not guarantee the successful delivery of text messages by your wireless provider. SNHU and the mobile carriers (for example, T-Mobile) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SNHU will not be liable for losses or damages arising from (a) non-delivery, delayed delivery, or misdirected delivery of a text message; (b) inaccurate or incomplete content in a text message; or (c) use or reliance on the content of any text message for any purpose.

Messaging frequency may vary. Unless otherwise noted, SNHU Text Service sends multiple, recurring messages. SNHU may terminate this Text Service or your participation in it at any time with or without notice, including, for example, before you have received any or all messages that you otherwise would have received, but these SMS Terms & Conditions still will apply. If you no longer wish to receive periodic autodialed marketing messages through the SNHU Text Service, for services operated through:

SNHU Online

  • 21216, text STOP to 21216 to opt out,

SNHU Campus

Kenzie Academy from Southern New Hampshire University

  • 317.644.4973 text STOP to 317.644.4973 to opt out.

For Text Services operated through a different number, text STOP to that number to opt out. Texting STOP to the relevant number listed above is the preferred method for opting out of marketing messages. After texting STOP to such number, you will receive one additional message confirming that your request has been processed and may offer a mechanism to resubscribe. No further messages will be sent from that number to your mobile device, unless initiated by You. You may still receive informational and/or emergency alert texts from SNHU. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, you must notify Us of this change at 1.800.668.1249 (Kenzie Academy from Southern New Hampshire University students please call 317.644.4973. You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide. SNHU is not liable for any communication or transmission of information by text which happens because you did not report that your mobile number changed. SNHU may revise, modify, or amend these SMS Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such revision, modification, or amendment shall take effect when it is posted to SNHU’s website. You agree to review these SMS Terms and Conditions periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes. Your continued consent to receive SNHU text messages will indicate your acceptance of those changes. SNHU may suspend or terminate your receipt of SNHU text messages if SNHU believes you are in breach of these SMS Terms and Conditions. Your receipt of SNHU text messages is also subject to termination in the event that your mobile telephone service terminates or lapses. SNHU reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or any part of SNHU text messages, with or without notice.

You agree to abide by and be bound to these SMS Terms and Conditions as well as SNHU’s Privacy Policy.

Class Action Waiver and Jury Waiver. You and SNHU each agree that any proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action. Neither you, nor any other customer, can be a class representative, class member, or otherwise participate in a class, consolidated or representative proceeding. If a claim proceeds in court you and SNHU each waive any right to a jury trial.

Governing Law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your access to or participation in the Text Service will be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law rules or principles.
