Eligibility
You’re eligible for this program if you:
- Earned a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0* or higher.
OR
- Have completed a technical bootcamp certificate, a college diploma/certificate program, an Associate Degree in any discipline, or a Bachelor Degree in a non-STEM field. (This is not a requirement, but graduates are encouraged to apply.)
*If the candidate does not have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 and has completed a college certificate or degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, the higher education GPA may be used instead of the high school GPA for eligibility. - Graduate degree holders are not eligible.
- Candidates must be authorized to work as either U.S. citizens or as Green Card holders permanently residing in the U.S.
Program Duration
The Apprentice Program lasts 12 months. The program is shortened to 6 months for those who have previous completed an associate degree in Computer Science.

Earn your degree on a predictable schedule. Access course materials weekly – like quizzes, discussion boards and papers – and complete assignments when it's convenient for you ahead of set due dates.
Work with instructors and classmates to complete weekly assignments and earn letter grades that count toward your final grade.
Take 1-2 classes during 8-week (undergraduate) or 10-week (graduate) terms.
Get credit for the college work you’ve already done. Transfer up to 90 undergraduate credits to save time and money.

Earn an Undergraduate Degree Online With Your Tuition Covered*
As an HCLTech Apprentice, you are eligible for the incredible benefit of a debt-free college education. After you complete your apprenticeship program and are hired into your full-time role, you are eligible to enroll at SNHU for an approved program, and HCLTech will pay your undergraduate tuition up to $5,250 annually directly to SNHU. At SNHU, HCLTech employees receive a 15% discount on undergraduate courses. This means tuition is $842 per course. Students may also apply for financial aid, and if they qualify for grants, these would cover tuition in addition to the $5,250.
